Connak Foundation

The Legacy of our Founder lives on through our dedication and commitment to the vision and mission that started Connak Foundation. We celebrate this legacy annually on the 25th of December to commemorate the vision and work of our Founder, celebrate our achievements in the years as well as reward beneficiaries who have participated in our various empowerment programs.

High points of the Founders’ day are:

    • Graduation ceremony for successful trainees in the 9-month ICT program and presentation of brand new laptops and printers to all graduands as start-up support
    • Graduation ceremony for the participant in Business Skills & Entrepreneurship Development
    • Award of business grants as start-up capital to successful businesses from the Business Plan Competition Program

Founder’s day is a yearly event designed to celebrate, award and empower all CONNAK Foundation’s trainees for the year.

Different gift items including food and clothing are also distributed to celebrate this day yearly.We have recorded over 15 thousand attendees since inception.

454 entrepreneurs have been trained, 75 businesses have been empowered with grants.

In 2019 alone, CONNAK Foundation reached out to over 15 entrepreneurs, providing them with funds, and also capital for existing businesses, with millions of Naira being distributed to this group of entrepreneurs to help them stand on their feet.
